pinion bolt/bearing pre-load specs?
what are the turn torque specs on the rear pinion/bearing? I had DS high speed balanced by DriveShafts Unlimited in San Antonio & still getting a pretty high frequency vibration at 85-90 mph. haven't gone any faster than that. Could it be:
1) Not enough pre-loan on pinion bearings?
2) Are rear tires rotating faster than stock with the 4.10 gears (need to get tires re-balanced?)
3) Is it nec. to get a custom DS for 4.10's? have an alum 5" DR (stock)

This is a real nice write up.

On page 2 it states 14-19 inch pounds. If you tighten it too much, you need a new crush sleeve. It is easy to go too far. I do this torque measurement with the ring gear out.
