popping noise kin drive train??

could this be the steering shaft? does make the noise when your turnin a corner?

no.i know what noise your talking about i have that noise on my 04 avalanche,stupid column....just trying to isolate the noise,am i going to hurt anything by pulling ft drive shaft and driving.???

im 2wd so i couldnt really answer that for you. sorry. can you get a vid of the problem? might help to ID the noise.
