Default Power slot disck brakes and Hawk brake pads

I'd like to buy new disk brakes and brake pads all around.

Which Power slot and Hawk disc brakes should i buy when i want a good improvement?

They have Power Slot slotted rotors and Power slot Cryo rotors, which one do you prefer?
Which Hawk brake pads do you prefer?

I like this kit also by the way, is it any good?

I have the SSBC slotted rotors on all corners. The only thing I noticed was the reduction in fade......which is a good thing. Mine came with a full kit including pads but the pads im not satisfied with. I have been eyeing the EBC yellow and green stuff pads to try out. I had a 03 sonoma with powerslot and hawk ceramic pads. They were great! I would go with Hawk again but im intrested in trying something new before going back to something I have used before.

I originally did this along with SS lines. It was definately an improvement, but I'd instead spend a little more and do a set of Eradispeed's up front first (or both if u can afford it!), and follow with the rears once I had the cash...better investment IMO.

Dont bother my NAPA premium pads worked just as well and the NAPA rotors didnt have defects like the hawk ones I ordered. Waste of money IMO

OK, I literally just got some EBC front slotted and dimpled because long story short summit sent me the wrong size rotors so i upgraded to ebc for the same price as their brand slotted crossdrilled. Sounds good right.........I think not, imo the ebc looks like crap compared to the cheaper summit brand, they weight 14lbs more a peice going from the 12'' to th correct size 13''. the rotors r much thicker and there for have a smaller vent gap between the front and back plate, dimpled dont seem as good as drilled in venting wise either, im just not impressed with them but will put them on anyways to see.....

Drilled rotors are for bling, if you over use them they will develop cracks, slotted are good for trucks that tow to help disapate heat but solid disc rotors should be the best, all thing being equal. The hawk pads are very good, but usually any name brand truck pad for towing will give you good results. Remember, the better the grip the more dust they usually make.

The Hawk/Powerslot Combo works great! Had this set up on my Sonoma with some SS lines. They worked great.
