Like I said in the other thread, they make 2 units. The lock-rite which is harsh, and the no-slip which isnt soo much. Both are good for cheap traction, the lock-rite is cheaper.

I also have the powertrax locker with 4.10 gears with a tt3000 stall. Dry it is great when it is wet you drive very easy on the gas... but i still have the stock tires...gota change them soon. I like the setup fun to drive.

my stock limited slip on my old truck was dangerous on wet roads along with the one in my T/A, any limited slip is going to be fairly dangerous on wet roads bec it will be easier for it to lock and cause it to fish tale, actually i found it quite fun, and had great fun on wet roads.

One thing i've heard is the noise difference between the Lock-Rite and the No-Slip. Those of you guys running the Lock-Rite how much rear end noise do you notice? I hear the No-Slip is non-noticable.

I have a "no slip" in mine, and I find it quite noticable. When turning sharp from a stop if the road is wet, the inside tire starts to spin (very light throttle) and then it will lock up both wheels with a clunk. Also when backing and turning it sometimes it will make a bang. I should have went with a Eaton or Auburn LS.

How is the Powertrax no slip when it comes to drag racing? That would be my main concern.

Deffinetly not for drag racing. That are slightly weaker than stock. You are taking a stock open case then adding the stresses of limited slip or locker to it, not a good idea. Most aftermarket limited slips have beefier cases, but with the Powertrax products you reuse stock.
