PPV Brakes on NNBS
**UPDATE** High country wheels clear.
I have not found a thread specifically on this so figure I'd start one. I already posted about it on the two threads on the Facebook page but not everyone here is on the Facepage.
2013 Silverado LTZ with Belltech drop spindles.
The PPV Brembo brakes ARE DIFFERENT than the GMPP brake package. There is more material they did not shave off. I will update as I get photos. My wheels are the CK162 22", 6 spoke and they do NOT clear the PPV calipers. I am going to next try how far out the wheel needs to be spaced and let y'all know.

More info on the caliper you are referring to. I presume it is a K2 or T1 platform PPV package? The GMT900 PPV caliper is the same PBR caliper with high temp seals from what I have seen.
I think this is it... 2021 Tahoe PPV specs... https://www.gmfleet.com/police/chevy-tahoe-ppv
"The Tahoe PPV provides officers with 20-inch tires and 6-piston front Brembo® brake calipers with 16-inch front rotors that help provide improved handling and critical stopping power."

A couple guys did it on the Facebook group but were running aftermarket wheels. Another guy confirmed his GMC 2019 20" wheels will fit which leads me to believe that only vehicles originally equipped with 4 piston calipers will have wheels that clear these brakes. Looking at CV95 10 spoke wheels. and will report back...

Idk about substantially beefier. Going off those pics it just looks like the angle makes it seem that way.

Look closer. It is a completely different caliper. Main differences off the PPV are wider piston cavity that extends the length of the caliper and is not contoured around the pistons, thicker bridge connecting the piston cavities and the most substantial is seems to be a one piece caliper. The pads are also different.

No I see that it is a different caliper but how could the piston cavity affect braking? Also I wonder if the cavity is raised higher than the brembo one.
Now that I see it yeah the single piece caliper you are are right. I don't know how much of a difference that makes though, I can't imagine that it would be a ton. Definitely makes the caliper slightly heavier
Yes I did figure the pads would be different

They both look like 1pc calipers to me, but that PPV caliper is probably 200% stiffer than the other "Brembo"
In a performance application, stiffness of the caliper and knuckle/upright/spindle/hub contribute greatly to pedal feel and reduced pad knock-back
From my couch, looks like the PPV caliper is the undisputed champ

There is visible seam down the center of the GMPP caliper along with the bolts on the back side...
I agree that the PPV caliper will be significantly stiffer than the GMPP and would be my choice over the two. Looking forward to what Drspencer finds out on them and if there is a PN and what $$ they will be. I have been seriously considering the Wilwood Aero6 kit once the current pads are done on the reg cab so if these are pretty reasonable, may go with them instead.
