Agreed. Nice to know on the shape of caliper = pedal feel.

GMPP is definitely a two piece. I am almost certain I have seen it taken apart on someone's sale thread once. I'd also be interested in purchasing these calipers. Just need a wheel that clears them.

I did some part number searching and came up with this for the list of required parts for the PPV upgrade. I am a little taken by the rotor price so I am a bit skeptical of the PN listed. The PN for the 16" GMPP rotors listed earlier are over 3x the price of these.
There is also some chatter on other forums that the dealerships are not selling these parts without a VIN as GM had to issue a stop order on PPV orders last year due to parts shortages. Its a good value at online prices but MSRP is right there with the GMPP or Wilwood kits.

Well if you just gotta get a VIN go find a police vehicle parked outside of a donut store and pull the VIN

This says those brakes are also on the 2021 Escalade, (seems like an ugly looking caliper for an Escalade, wonder if it is). You can get that from any lot.

I see CarID, summitt, etc are selling those calipers. Shouldn't be hard to find.

Everything from rockauto is ~$1,400 with tax. And yeah those rotors aren’t right. Should be ~$200 or so.

@Drspencer, have you installed yours yet?
If so... what did you do for splash shields? Get the GM matching ones or trim the existing?
If not... can you measure the piston diameters on the caliper?
Also... what type of coating is on the caliper, if any? It looks too dark for raw aluminum from the pics.

It looks like some generic anti corrosion adonizing. Low cost way to keep the corrosion down in salty winter climates.

There's a guy on the Facebook group with them installed. He's using the GMC 20" wheels from 2019.
