Not sure what the temps are on the tranny. I know that it isn't getting no where near hot. I have another cooler on it as well. and the last one I just pulled off and it looked good as well. I swear I am never going to deal with this. It's way to hard for this guy.

STEP 1.) Bring it to a trans shop or the dealer and tell them you ONLY want to have them monitor the transmission to see if it is being commanded for Lockup.....

IF SO.) pulll the trans and make sure that O-ring was on the input shaft, if so..move to the valve body area...you can buy a lockup solenoid for $30 and wire it in from the pan area....also buy that TCC control valve that eliminates worn valve issues...easy to install, you will just need to drop the valve body.

IF ITS NOT BEING COMMANDED.) check your break pedal switch.

My buddy had a professinal shop install his build 60E and they forgot to install the o-ring on the input shaft...but IMO the builder should have done that before the shop recieved the transmission...

Transmission and easy do not belong in the same sentence. Lol, But I am going to install the new noids tonight and if that doesnt fix it time to drop the transmission. When I pull it ti swap the converters I will be able to tell wether that o-ring is still there or not.

Did you ever scan it while driving?

No one is willing to do it for me, I have another converter that works its a 3,700 circle d and I am tempted to pull the tranny and throw that bitch in there. Unless you guys think its good. With it already being previously being tunned for that converter is it possible for it to go back to factory or stop doing it when i unplug it?

You're gonna be chasing your tail man. Do some troubleshooting first.

No, it's not going to be the tune. It's either the converter, the transmission slipping, or an electrical problem.

OK, so what do you suggest next then, I am all ears now. Noids or just pull that conveter out of there. I just want it to lock out into overdrive. Oh and I have also found the overdrive gear. it does go into overdrive but it takes a bit, so it has to be the converter then right? Just tell me what to do next.

Im having similar problems, after I installed my rebuilt trans and Yank SS3600 it doesn't want to lock up very often at highway speeds. Sometimes it will lock up at like 50mph and it takes a lot of throttle to get it to unlock or just touch the brakes, but when it locks up at like 75mph it comes unlocked almost right away without anything changing. Its preventing me from driving mine as much as I want to I've only put like 1800 miles on it in 8 months.
