mine uas been lile this for seversl months now... i replaced the lockup solenoid and wire harness and still no luck. next step is to drop the trans and check the o-ring. i know it is commanding lockup and my converter is fine, because the converter would lock just fine becore the trans crapped out on me

 

Here is the log and config from a casual drive around the city tonight with a couple wot blasts at the end...this is all hp tuners stuff. It seemed like it was intermittently trying to lock mainly when commanding 3rd, then commanding 4th. Commanding lockup seemed to have no effect. Any pointers would be appreciated.

 

Yea that is what i was thinking I was going to have to do as well. Did a log and checked the tune, and the reviews so far from the pro's is it needs to be tuned but It should be locking up as it sits. So looks like I will be pulling the tranny either this weekend or next weekend. I have another stall for it, so i am just out time, But I really don't wanna pull that big bastard unless I have too!

 

Alright so an update on all this ****. I took it to a transmisson center to have him install my other converter. It lowered it down to where I am doing about 2300 RPM now vers 2800 rpm. Can someone put some light on to the brake light switch? If it is an inexpensive piece I will be swapping that bitch in. if this does not fix it should I just have the tranny shop rebuild it all or what? This problem is honestly holding m up from actually being able to get tires for my truck so I really need to know what is going on.
