i think vince@FLT once said for white1 to do a 4wheel burnout out of his driveway for the break-in procedure. anyone care to validate this??

They have an in-house trans dyno that takes care of all the break-in you'd need to do.

Stick it in there and roll brother!

Consider that validated.

If I know Matt, the FLT L5 has had the snot beat outta it since the first engagement of forward gears.

As all coments above that is how most of you guy's do it. If you are running a fresh converter it is best to cycle the lock up 20-30 times. Ignore if your converter was tested here at FLT. Do this by some normal driving around town. I do recomend that you make sure to run it through the gears a few times and make sure it is full before driving with the wheels in the air. Basically make sure all is good with no leaks and everything functioning correctly. Take it for a testdrive if all is well without a problem or leaks, then as mentioned and photo'd above enjoy the ride. Vince
