Default Pt 3200 YANK and 4l70?

Gonna be installing a pt3200 in my 07.5 with the 4l70. Will I have to get the computer retuned before driving it or will it be ok to drive home after the transmission shop gets done?

It will be fine to drive it but you might have an issue with a couple of codes if you really get on it. The two that come to mind are the P0751 and P0757. If these codes get tripped then you will have 3rd gear starts. The way to clear these is to cycle the ignition on and off and the vehicle will start off in first again like it should. I would suggest getting a tune and having the tests for these codes shut off. You will also probably want to have your TCC tables adjusted when you have a tune done so driveability is a little better. HTH Vince
