putting in converter...need advise.

Cool Unhook all wires from the transfer case and the trans with the exception of the PRNDLE switch plug at the manual linkage if you need to remove this remove the linkage and the two bolts and slide it off the manual linkage shaft as the plugs are bad to break up on removal, Sorry couldnt stay up any longer last night 2 AM is late for me, Holler if you need anything and hope I was of some help

Yep you can drop the front of the tranny down far enough to swap the converter without pulling the t-bar crossover, I did it when I did my stall.

Workin on it right now. Waiting for the lines tools to get the trans lines off...........then its out.

VICTORY!! converter is in. Now I just have to jack the front of the trans up.


Suprisingly no mess........not a drop!

It is!! the trans is up, and all bolted together. Now I'm installing the pacesetter LT's and Y. Much easier with the crossmember out!! That was'nt to bad actually!
