Check bell-housing to block bolt pattern. I thought there was a difference there between the gen II vortec bolt pattern and the LS_ engines.

i replied in your other thread..
all the GM SBCs use the same bellhousing bolt pattern

So yea it will bolt up.. i cant remember the electronics on the 92 80E tho.. never fooled with them, but yea it will bolt up.

Awesome, Thanks for the info. You guys have been great. I guess I need a M6 Crossmember to hold it, and a harness to shift it that connects to my TCM.

Picked up my 4L80e today, and ordered my LR4 block which should be here next week.

i didnt think the 92 model had a provision for a park neutral safety switch...

You are right. It doesn't. Apparently, what I have to do is switch over the 4L60e/4L65e shift rod and attach the switch. It doesn't look too bad.

ok thats good to know.. blue4.8 on here is also swapping an older 4l80e into his turbo project and we were wondering how to make it work
