Default Question about brake problems???

Our 99 Tahoe is making a clunking sound when stoping after acceleration. I have just replaced the front rotors and pads in the last 6 months. I haven't touched the back drums yet. But i don't think it is the drums because the noise comes from the front when stopping. I have heard a few people tell me it could be the tranny yoke for the driveshaft. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks

Joe

it sounds like the slip yoke. try removing the driveshaft and put some molly grease on the slip yoke
