Question about decranking torsion bars

Thanks for the help....I got everything done this weekend. Drove the truck today for about 2 miles to the alignment shop and it feels pretty good so far. There's about 1/4" gap between the rear bumpstop and the axle, and the front bumpstops just barely touch the LCA.

i cut my rear bumpstop too.

I had to also...with the new shackles installed the axle was resting on the bumpstop. I cut one "nub" off the rear bumpstop and drilled it like GMracer described for the front.

my rear bumpstops are beat all to ****... I need to notch it and put some poly bumpstops in...
