Default Question about torque converters

My transmission is starting to feel "sluggish". I'm worried that I'm going to have to do a rebuild soon. However, if I were to do this I was thinking about getting the Yank TT2600. Is that any better than stock torque converter? Or should I go with the 3000? I rarely do any street racing and I don't go to the track. What do you guys suggest??? Does anything else need to be added? Like shift kit? I had a really bad experience with a shift kit and don't really want to do it again. This is a daily driver.

I would get the reworked tb converter from Circle D.

Transgo HD2 shift kit is a good option. Make sure you have the correct tuning aswell.
