Default Questions About Lowering My 2011 Silverado RCSB

I have a RWD 2011 Silverado RCSB that is standard height.

I want to lower it using the McGaughys 3/5 - 4/6 Deluxe Drop Kit W/ Shocks Part #34070.

If I put 20s on it what would be the ideal size tire to not push the envelope of it rubbing?

What about 22s, would that even be an option? If so same question, what is the best size tire on 22" wheels that wouldn't rub?

Also if anyone has pics of this drop on a similar vehicle I would love to see them.

I ordered the 5/6 drop for my '13 Sierra Ext Cab from IHC Suspension in South Texas, I have 22x9 in the front and 22x10 in the rear that I will be installing when I get the truck back from the body shop. It got caught up in a hale storm a few months ago so its being fixed.
I plan on running 285/40 22 in the front and 305/40 22 in the rear, I've been told I should have plenty of clearance without rubbing, guess we will see!!

20s easily fit and so do 22s. Tire size you can stick with the stock 275/50r20 I believe is stock size and it will fit. Couldn't tell you on 22s. Basically a 31" tire I think is a good start and should fit those drops.

I did the 4/6 drop with the 20s and there isn't enough clearance in the front.

The back is fine but the 4 inch drop in the front is only giving me about an inch clearance between the tire and fender well.

Any feedback?

The crazy thing about it is I've seen many people do a 4/6 on a 2011 without any issues, and idea why mine is different?

Also with an inch clearance, would a smaller tire on 20 inch wheels solve the problem?

The standard tire size that everyone suggested 275/55/R20.

That looks like way low. Way way low.

This is four wheel drive correct? Have you thought about cranking your torsion keys up a bit?

I don't know something must be off. How does your rear look? Can you take a picture of the whole truck as well?
