Default Quick clutch line replacement question

I've got the earl clutch fittings and a -4 line. Can I get to the slave cyl side to take out the stock quick connect or does the Trans have to come off?

Thanks. Also how do I bleed it? Or do I just have to let fluid run through the hose while I connect it?

Thanks for the added info. It might help someone give you better knowing what you have. There should be a bleeder screw at the slave. Normally you would bleed it just like you would brakes. However it seems like some of these systems can be kind of picky at times. I have seen a few different systems for bleeding the clutch system but I'm not really familiar with them. Hopefully someone will chime in before you attack the throwout bearing!

Well, we through in a new throw out bearing and the clutch line fittings and a new line. We cracked the bleeder and used a whole bottle worth of fluid and still no clutch. So wtf? What am I missing? Any tips to bleed this damn thing?
