Default RE- lowering the Tahoe need some help

Hey Fellas,
I am re lowering the Tahoe. It currently has a DJM 3/5 kit on it and I'm changing it to a McGaughys 2/3 kit. My question is with the front end. I need to find out what is the best way to handle the torsion bars. I am taking the lower control arms out and putting the stock ones back in, I also need to get the new ball joints in both the upper and lower control arms. What is the best way to do the ball joints? Can they be changed on the truck? Or will I have to take them in to get the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed back in? Thanks for the help in advance.

Danny

probably would be best to take the control arms off and have them pressed out and the new ones pressed in. It really is not that much work to get them off and you are going to need to align the front end anyhow......

Is there any tension on the torsion bars?

I am planning on selling all the old stuff. I can't do the work on the Tahoe until the weather clears up a little. My damn garage is to small for the Tahoe to fit . I can't wait til the summer to build "MY" garage . You having a Truck, the back coil springs won't work. You should have leaf springs back there.
