RE: Options for front carrier
I've got a 2010 Sierra 1500 4x4 with 3.08 gears and I want to change the gearing. Pretty sure I'm doing the Detroit Trutrac in the rear, but they don't have those for the front carrier. Can anyone help with the options available in changing out the front carrier?

Pretty sure I need to look for a standard loaded open carrier for GM 8.25 IFS differential. If anyone can confirm this it would be great.

That would seem correct.
AFA IK that's available. Otherwise, you can get a junk one out of a 3 series 8.25 IFS and install it. Change bearings and whatnot, even replace the small gears if you want.
