Angry REALLY need some input, something isn't right on my 80e swap.

Finally broke down and did an 80e swap in my 01 rcsb 2wd. I put the transgo hd-2 shift kit and running stock converter for now. I bought the conversion harness that came wit the new vss, got everything hooked up, mounted and filled wit fluid. Cranks up fine and everything, I go to put it in reverse and the wheels turn forward, it's the same in every gear, even neutral!!!!! WTF i've put a new neutral safety switch and still the same. Could it be the tune? Could really use some input, bout ready to set it on fire.

Are you sure the shifter cable is correctly attached? If it is, then you may have misplaced some checkballs while doing the shift kit.

Not sure on the condition of the internals of the trans but either have a welded forward clutch or you missed the manual valve when connecting it to the rooster cone. I would drop the pan and look at this first. Most likely your issue.

Yea I found the problem tonight lol. Don't know the technical term for it but before I put the pan on I forgot to hook that pin thats on the shift linkage to the valve in the valve body.
