I know at my old job I had a E-350 and then a F-450 and both rears got hot enough that you were not touching them without gloves.

after repeated hard runs with the 14 bolt it starts to act funny. need to change to a different cover and add a cooler set up

When I used to hotshot with my old Ram 3500 I had a cooler on my rear diff along with a gauge. Towing 35K I would sit around 180 to 200 depending on outside temp.

Wow.. i wasnt expecting it to be that warm.. i got my sending unit just havent put it in or put the gauge in yet.
