Rear Coilover Conversion

Rear Coilover Conversion
Was just looking into suspension parts for my truck so I can lower my 60ft. And was wondering if anyone has converted to coilovers in the rear. I would like to know if it would drop 60ft times at all or just a waste of time. And if you know of a good spring rate to begin with that would be great. Heres the kit I was looking at.

That will get you started. As stated, you will also need to fab a 4-link or ladder bar suspension. I have read a thread in the projects section, you might look there for ideas.

Will caltracs count as ladders bars? Or would I need somthing that was connected the bar that the upper part of the coil over was mounted to. Ima look in projects and see what I can dig up.

Think that 4 link and the QA1 setup should workout ok.

Imo I would save some money, headaches and opt for the cali bars.. Then if that doesn't work then sell them off and do your thing.. Not trying to come off like a *******, but that 4.8 isn't going to tell you how good the 4 link is as it won't be getting 1.6 60ft with that engine set up... You kinda get what im saying??? There are guys running slicks and no susp work getting bad *** 60 fts. why spend the money if you don't have to...
