Rear drop on nbs
Hey i just bought this off a buddy. Has some rear shackles on it but the rear still isn't level. The are on the top hole of the shackle. I know the truck has the Chevy lean on the driver front. but the rear of the truck is an 1" higher on both sides. I am just trying to get the rear to be as low as the front right now.
I am not sure of the maker of the shackles. Thanks. can you guys give me some advice? should i just buy a new set of 2" rear drop shackles, at least then i will now it should be a 2" drop. here is a pic.

That looks to be a 2 drop in the rear, i wouldn't waste money on another set of shackles. Why not do a flip kit in the rear with a 1 inch lift shackle and then a 2 inch drop in the front. that would set you at a 2/5 drop. but if your just looking for another inch in the rear take out the very bottom leaf spring(the overload one) i believe that will net close to an inch more of drop.

Maybe a dumb question... But how do you adjust the rear shackles to get another 1" out of them so the back is level? Sould I buy some 1" drop shackles to use with the hangers?

hangers are at the front of the leaf spring, he was saying buy aftermarket ones to give u two inches of drop then put your shackle (the rear of the leaf) in the other hole to make it only one inch adding up to three inches of drop in the rear.
