Rear drums?

Yea, i know its only with the after market wheels. Thats why i said OTHER wheels. lol

I think they should find a way to fix it if the problem is that bad. Either that or recall them and put better drums or disks on there. Ive been lucky though. No problems with mine.

I would asssume that the brakes in a VHO's 14 bolt rear would be larger than the 10 bolt found in most other 1/2 tons. MAybe these new drums are only bad on the 14 bolts??

That's a good question about the possible bigger drums and different rear end sizes.
Though, I believe they are the same. I have felt this same issue on several 1500 series 05' and a 06' CCSB rental trucks. I've driven about 4-5 different ones. If you really pay attention they all had pulsation to a degree. I've noticed that heat plays a big factor on how bad it will do this. The drums are consistantly distorting.
I want to say it is cause of a cheap metal they used to make the drums with.
That kind of recall would be expensive. They would have to replace all drums on a (more than likely) as needed under warranty basis.
