Default rear end suggestions please

i have a 99 single cab 5.3 200k miles and the rearend has finally given up. I have a set of 411s, and where i need help is to go with a spool lock are something like a detroit true track. the truck is my daliy but i drive about 5 miles round trip 2 work.

Tru-trac.. Half teh site is running one of them, including myslef. Great rear, has been flawless..

I'm in the same boat. I even got mine used and no complaints once so ever about it.

thanks for the response guys any one know a good place in southeast texas to get a tru-trac r maybe anyone on here have a used one they would like 2 get rid of

Spool? Not on the street. 3 popular ones are Truetrac, Eaton LSD or Detroit Locker. Everyone has their favorite for their needs. In a month, I should have a Truetrac.

look me up in a month r so when ur ready 2 get rid of that tru-trac ill take it.

anyone know about what rpm i will be runnin at 70 with 411s and 28" tire i have a very short drive so fuel mileage isnt a worry just wondering.

I think Tom will have a tru trac going in the truck in a month.. Rpm's you should be in the 2200 range

X6 on the tru track. got
mine put in 6 weeks ago and
3.73 gear. it was done here
locally. well worth the trip if
u can make it out here sometime
time.

the 2200 range would be nice a guy at a local shop where i got the gears from told me i would go up around 700 over what im runnin now which would put me around 2500-2600. Thanks for the replies guys goin get a tru trac in a few min found one locally hopefully ill be burnin up some tires tonite.

Correct, it'll be goin in my truck, not 1 up for sale.
