Default Rear suspension packages - Z85

I am still dealing with my bed bounce issue. Truck just doesn't ride like other trucks I have been in, so I looked at the RPO code.

What I have is:

Z85 : CHASSIS PACKAGE, HIGH PAYLOAD FIRM RIDE

Does anyone know if the leafs from:

Z83 : CHASSIS PACKAGE, SOLID SMOOTH RIDE

would be a noticeable difference? what about other rpos? Which would provide the best ride?

I am dead set on new leaf springs, trying to research what would be best for high way driving with no towing.

look at your springs and then compare to other trucks you see
through out time GM has offered different leaf setups, on the 01' they offered two maybe three different packs

there are web sites that tell you the payload of the spring packs

thesuspensionking.com
che40 is 3 leafs with 1425 lbs payload
41 is 5 leafs 2025 lbs

On my 2001 GMC C3, Z85 is listed as - EURO-RIDE SUSPENSION PACKAGE. It has a 2/1 spring pack, which Eaton/Detroit Spring lists as having a spring rate of 165/310 and a load capacity of 1500lbs.

They also list additional available C/K1500 spring packs as having:
4/1 with a load capacity of 2025lbs
5/1 with a load capacity of 2235lbs
7/1 with a load capacity of 3300lbs
