Default Rear Sway Bar

I've got an Addco rear sway bar that I'll be installing when I return from an upcoming 4 month deployment (military orders). Aside from the improved handling, are there any other benefits from using a rear sway bar? Will it:
-cure wheel hop?
-increase hauling and towing capacity?
-fix the "Chevy lean" in the rear?
Any info would be appreciated!!

Improved cornerning as a result of less body roll is all you'll get from a sway bar. It' won't effect ride height, straight line traction, etc.

Some say it helps with highway rear end sway.

That makes perfect sense to me -- and illustrates how sway bars may improve straight line stability. It's a function of reducing body movement and flex.

I have that very same bar. E to the Z install! It will make a significant improvement in handling. You will notice it immediately.... But, shouldnt effect anything other then that.
