Well, I plan on switching out the gears and diff in the future, but for now with gas at 3.15 a gallon in my area I wanna stay with the 3.23's.

yes the locking diff in the trucks do have clutches but it also has the weighted arm to lock the sides together

G80 is gm's way of identifling its 2 wheel'd rears. the g80 can be seen in s10s, camaros and etc and not all of them have the same diff.

but yes its a weak piece when mated with slicks but on street tires its fine
