Redoing the rear suspension, got some ???s about shock placement and overload spring
#13
Ya doing some looking into a Flip kit, seems like it better for instant center, however, i believe it will cause me alot more work to get to the height i want... My truck is only a 2/3 drop and that is how i want to keep it.. To get that height, i would have do to alot of extra stuff it seems, like lift shackles, maybe lift hangers, then my sway bar will have to be reworked alot, different shock and different shock hangers, the list goes on and on.... So i am gonna stick with a non- flip.

Leave the overload, remove the middle spring, put stock shackles on it. Your ride hide will remain pretty much the same, maybe a tad lower, and you can still haul lite loads if you need to.
It's kinda gangster and may not be for everybody, but we've done a couple trucks like this with very good results. Mine being one of them
