I have a 07 LTZ avalanche with air ride rear shocks. Can i disonnect the air pump and swap out the air shocks for nonair ones?

You betcha. The problem - you'll have a "service ride control" nastygram on the DIC. I've heard - but haven't confirmed - that this can be addressed through the BCM via a Tech 2. The alternative is to add some resistance to the circuit to fool the system into thinking everything is happy. I'm just not sure what the load would need to be. Good luck...

I am curious why you would want to do this. The Autoride adds a lot of performance and comfort to the suspension. If it is a matter of wanting to drop the vehicle, that can be done easily and still be able to keep the auto ride totally functional
