pretty much, with a lift and air it took me 2 hours. if i did it again, it would probably only take an hour or so, maybe an hour and a half. its very simple. take a bunch of **** apart, and only replace one item...the hubs.

the diff however is 80 lbs alone, so having a friend or floor jack under it is a good idea.

well thats a lil overkill on the details but thanks. Damn i just installed the djm lca's. No way im takin that **** back apart for a while!

BTW that big nut on the hub is a 36mm.

Can you do this on OBS and NBS trucks? Does it work on both styles?

Think this same thing can be done to an AWD Denali? I want to turn mine into 2wd as well.

What is the progress report on your project? Also, I wonder how hard it would be to put in a 2wd transmission. The transfer case has to be 80 lbs. What drive shaft would you use?
