Removing overload leaf springs...

Ok I've got the truck in the air and removed the u-bolts. I ran into a little problem... what am I suppose to do in order to take the screw/pin out to slide out the overload spring. And when I slide the pin back into the remaining leaf springs, isn't it gonna hit on the axle and wont go all the way in since the springs are thinner.

Well, I managed to take everything off except one of the pin's screw. It was too damn tight. I messed up the tread of the screw and no luck removing it. I'm gonna have to take the truck to a shop to ha it removed. All this hard work for nothing . Well gotta go put everything back on.

on my s-10 i had to just chop the bolt down some and it worked great for traction. with a 305 it drop it good on launch

when i took mine out the rubber stops in the back hit bottom out had to put it back stock.12sec5.3 did his and also turn the helper spring over and he had no problems yet
for as i know.
