Removing a washer from Transgo-HD shift kit on 4l60e
I will be doing a cammed lq9 engine swap soon, along with a 3600 stall.
I have a 3000 stall currently and I bought the truck with a built transmission with a transgo hd shift kit with all 3 washers installed. The transmission shifts too hard for my liking at part throttle and I imagine even with the higher stall, the cammed lq9 over my stock internal 5.3 is going to be super harsh. Don't want to destroy my transmission too quickly.
So basically I am wondering what I need to do to remove 1 or 2 washers?
Obviously drop the pan, but I am unfamiliar with what to do from there.
If someone could give me a step by step and a few pictures that would be awesome.
Remember just want to remove washers, nothing more complicated than that.
Of course while the pan is dropped I'll go ahead and change the filter and fluid too.
Thanks a bunch

Refer to the installation instructions. If you don't have them here is a video that covers the basics from TransGo.

Is this what I would be looking for on mine that I would be removing some washers from?

Based off this video, the only thing that I saw that had a washer in it was the piston on the side of the transmission (not the valve body itself). In the video there was only one installed.
