replacement shocks?

Default replacement shocks?

anyone know a good set of replacement shocks
for and 01 reg. sierra
i was looking at the bilstein but i dont know how good they are or if there is any better out there
i want smoother and better handling.

if it's lowered consider some Toxic shocks.

its not lowered. its stock. can i buy shocks and then lower it or will i have to replace the shocks after i lower it?

i'm pretty sure you could buy the shocks then lower it but usually the lowering kits already come with shocks. I just looked at stylinconcepts.com and i would go with the Belltech actually. It says the Belltechs can be used on your truck for stock height or lowered so i would say grab yourself some of those and you would be fine. I have Toxic drop shocks on my truck but i don't know if they would fit on a stock height truck.

I have a set of edelbrock IAS shocks for the front with a 3-4 drop and they have 500 miels on them I would sell them shipped for $80

Default shocks

you can't beat bilsteins. I've got them on my 'bird and about 80k on a set that's on my old suv and still great.

fyi: Monroe Sensatracs are an awesome ride, and affordable, but I guarantee you'd lose up to 1" in ride ride by just swapping to them. My guess is they're too soft for the truck application. I went back to the HDs under mine and trashed the Sensatracs. I was going for the smooth softer ride, but went back to stiff because of the drop.
