Reputable shop to install drop kit Austin Tx?
I was wondering if anyone knew of a reputable shop to install a drop kit on my 05 silverado? I just moved to Austin and i dont know any shops here. I would install it myself but i would have to drive 8 hours back home to my shop and back and I figured i would save myself some time and help out a local business at the same time. Im not looking for anything extreme just a 2/4. I did my a 3/4 on my old truck and i really liked it and want to do the same on this one. thanks for any help.
Ive also included my a picture of my old truck, my new truck is identical to it

I went by there today and they quoted me $3500 for a 4/6 drop installed. Now that does include installation, and an alignment. Now for someone who has always done their own work and never have taken anything to a shop to have work done, that seems pretty high. The kit was for a beltech kit and i know what the kit cost. So is that and average price? high low?

Yeah i know thats about what the kit cost. They told me they charge $110/hr which i thought was crazy. I have dropped trucks before and i know its not that hard and i would do it myself but i dont have my own shop her yet and would have to drive 8 hours home back to my old shop. I may just have to take the drive and do it myself

A shop with a lift should be able to springs/spindles and a notch in a matter of hours.
I paid $300 for my spring/spindle install. The flip I did myself and the notch I did in the driveway with a sawzall and cutoff wheel. The notch REALLY isn't that hard. It's drilling the holes that's the pain but with the right drill bits, it's not even terrible.

If I had all my tools here i would do it myself. I know its not that hard and i have dont it before. But anyway i did find a place here called Pick up Heaven that said they would do it out the door for $1500. Now that includes all the parts (upper and lower control arms, c notch, flip kit, all 4 drop shocks, and an alignment) plus install. Labor will be about $450 which i figured is reasonable, because it would cost me almost that much to get back home and back to my own shop to do it myself
