Default Ring Gear Bolts

Anyone used arp ring gear bolts for 8.6, part number is 230-3002 I think. In the past have had issues with aftermarket bolts backing out with loctite so only used GM bolts.

Never had any trouble with any bolts I've ever used backing out. Probably used more old million-mile stock ones than anything else butt there's been LOTS of others of various sorts too. Can't say what brands I've used. LOTS of gear swaps over the years though, with LOTS of variety of bolts.

Never have used Loctite on ANY. Not once. It's kinda against my religion, so to speak. Right bolts, right part, right torque, ... Loctite is a Band-aid to salve the insecurities of the inexperienced. Just my opinion.

Pretty sure you'll be just fine with those ARP bolts you have. With or without Loctite. Don't pay any attention to me though, do whatever the mfr says they want done with their product, then it's their problem if it fails.
