local Transmission Parts warehouse. there should be one in every major city in every state. try googling in your area and see if there is one close. Every once and awhile a factory GM clutch kit pops up on ebay.

Give me a shout if you cannot source those parts... I'll have them drop shipped to you.

Gilbert, do you sale parts outright??? I would gladly refer other members to contact you when trying to source parts.

Thanks man. I did as you said and looked on ebay and actually added this kit to my watch list. I wasnt sure of the kit because of the 4th clutches and the over run clutches not being high energy. Im assuming there is a reason for that. I guess 4th gear will hold up fine with regular clutches? I havent found a powerflow chart to see what all every clutch does just yet. The price is great though. I would still have to get bands and steels correct? Will this kit include enough clutches for a performance rebuild?

Im really looking for a well put together kit or good combination of parts that will compliment eachother for a well balanced combo. I want something i can buy all in one place with everything im going to need to make a stout transmission. I wont know what all update/ hard parts i will need until i get the trans appart probably next week once i get my shop cleared out.

right now i have a lack of space in my shop with parts for other jobs everywhere plus i have this to contend with until the heads come back from the machine shop.

ok i found an apply chart and after a brief study session i guess the over run clutch is to provide engine braking in manual gear selections and 4th gear clutch is obviously for 4th and only used in 4th. Im not understanding why 4th gear clutches are not hi energy in this kit.
