it i possible to lower line pressure, a stall will soften your shifts too.

my trans is fully built and i have never had a problem with the belt slipping....

it only happens from 1-2 WOT... and it is so fast u cant tell where it is coming from.... i hope its the belt lol.... maybe next time ur in the area... u can see what u think....

Thats about how my install went on my 4L60E on the 99. Get all done, back it out, put it in drive and nothing. Cuss. Restart, nothing. Cuss more. Leave truck running while cussing even more and combing over instructions all the while cussing. Finally about 15 minutes or so of cussing and letting the truck idle the vasiline I'm guessing melted away and it all worked. Cussed some more just because and then went for a drive.

I think everyone forgot to mention the ease of installing the damn snap ring on the servos... IMO that could have been designed a little bit better...

lol... i tried for 25 minutes.... but my buddy who is a dealership mechanic for ford got to laughin at me while i was cussing... crawled under there and popped it in first run... took him about 45 seconds... then he gets out from underneath and smiles... sayin... "ur right... that is damn hard"
i wanted to punch him in the *****

i can honestly say that this is the funniest thread i've ever read on here...without a doubt in my mind...at least it's in and running FTW!! good job man!! he works on Fords all day?? that's definately job security cause they're always breakin down

lol, thats funny. Glad to see you got it working tho!!!! And you don't have to take the shift cable bracket off, you can just pry it out of the way.

i swear... everything smells and tastes like tranny fluid.... hopefully the smell will leave my body soon... it sucks to do this... and when ur driving all u smell is tranny fluid... makes u look under the truck every stop...
