Ok let me rephrase.

Vibrations suck. They can go to hell, unless there are free roaming boobies involved.

This might be the culprit to all the mysterious vibe problems I've been reading about on here. Mine seems to go with speed .And yes it feels like the bed is bouncing up and down. It comes on at 40-45 then goes, comes on at 55, then goes and it seems to be smooth sailing after that.

What's weird is I didn't notice this issue until I adjusted my pinion angle. I'm wondering if my previous pinion angle was masking the problem.

Here's another longer vid, sorry for the crappy lighting. You can really see it wobble toward the end:

I've got the same problem in my 2500HD. Just found out today. I've been having the bed jumping off the truck feeling for a little while now (thought I threw a weight on a wheel). I just recently started getting that same bucking sort of deal when braking. My mechanic called it axle runout. He said I can either replace the axle or try to find someone who can turn it on a lathe while on the vehicle. Does that sound right?

Yup, that's what it felt like....bed jumping up and down. I pulled both axles out and took them to the differential shop. The axle in the video had noticable flange issues, but more importantly it had .020 runout on the bearing surface. My other axle had .005. He said .002 is what he likes to see for new axles, and .005 is acceptable but .020 is bad.

He had a new one in stock, so I swapped it out this weekend, and everything is smooth again. In fact, I don't think my truck has rode this smooth since I had the stock suspension.

It was only $118 for the axle, plus $9 to have the studs pressed in and out. It could've been a lot worse, but I caught it early. I did all the work myself too. It takes longer to put new fluid in than it does to R&R the axles.
