The other thing I like about that ladder bar is that I can have it sit just below the drive shaft to protect it from rocks and logs.

You shoulda had them install the girdle while they had the rear end apart, shoukdnt have charged any extra, had put cover on anyway and wouldve saved some headache with clean up

Three reps of 20 + - miles, complete cool down between each. Easy/ reg drivingi for a couple hundred. Tempering and setting race to bearing tracking is critical to long run life. I always check pinion run out and pull housing to recheck gear lap after break in. A few times the crush sleeve has put a few k play in pinion, changing gear mesh. Vector physics, the pinion has a lot of push/pull on its componits. Are bearing to race seating has done the same. 1hr of pease of mind insurances. Then drive normal WFO.

Yo Wolftruck. My personal vehicles where for most part run the same way. My shop built 10 to 15 rears a wk. to keep guys like us from running over my mechanics for failed repair I went by the book on warranty. And we had + - 5% of the dif rebuilds needing mesh adjustments. Some say they did what they where told for break in.. But gut instinct tells me they did what we river jumping black top rippers do. Mash on it ....... > if I was a 5%er my shop fixed it.. No$... But everyone else after no 200 miles recheck .. Open up yo wallet ...

Fair enough, ive learbed to set everything up at the tight end of spec and typically when it breaks in will still be within spec, mine is just about tight as it was the day i out everything in.... And not a bit of noise out of it!!!
