servos
I have the vette servo but I was thinking of purchasing some billet servos instead.
Which ones do you guys recommend?
I noticed some that said 35% more holding and some with 18% more holding than the vette servo.
And do you need the the 1-2 servo and the 3-4 servo.
How will it feel just crusing along?
A buddy of mine just put an LS1 with a monster cam and z-06 intake and heads on his monte carlo. His trans has the transgo kit, 3500 stall, and Jet servos. When normally driving it shifts like stock but when you stomp it shifts with the performance I like. Maybe it could be a little stronger.
Who has the best prices on servos and seperator plate. I gave him mine and I dont remember where I ordered it from.

I installed Sonnax 2nd and 4th servos along with a Transgo HD2 and new separator plate. I bought it all form FLT (See sponsors on right).
I installed it all at once, so I don't know how much the servo alone affected shifting. FLT also sells the standard corvette servo. Looking back I probably wouldn't have put the new 4th servo in, it really doesn't do anything for me. I have read that a huge 4th servo can actually break the stock band if your not careful.
With how easy it was to change the servo, I would try the corvette servo and if it doesn't do it for you, upgrade it.
You don't have to change both servos, most only change the 2nd gear one.
