Default Setting up a used ring and pinion

I did the tru trac and 4.11 swap a while back. Lost a pinion bearing . The ring and pinion are set up pretty close to perfect pattern. I am going to replace all bearings. If the ring and pinion are re usable i plan to set them up with a perfect pattern (i have an extra vehicle so i have alot of time to do it right last time it was 2 am when i got them done or well close so i just went with it). So will there be any issues setting it up different then the pattern that was used for break in?

Why would you set them up different??? Get your pattern good or where you want it, and go with it.... You might have a little whine to it, but I doubt it.

if you weren't having any issues with it then put it back the way it was.

If you lost a pinion bearing, that wasn't from the pattern being set wrong, most likely you had to much preload on the pinion bearings. That's probable where your vibration you've been chasing came from.

Reason i ask. I dont know yet what caused the bearing failure. Unknown debris, heat, bad bearing. So im just asking for the just in case factor.

Also just wondering for personal know how.
