Default Shift Kit?

Alright Guys I Am Going To Put The Transgo Hd2 Shift Kit In My Truck. I Will Be Adding A Yank Tt3000 Later. I Just Want To Know What Other Upgrades I Need To Do To My Tranny While Im In There, So It Will Last A Little Longer And Hold Up To A Few More Horses. Ive Heard About All These Accumulator Pins And Clutch Bands And This And That, But I Dont Know What All That Stuff Does. If Someone Could Shed A Little Light On This For Me I Would Greatly Appreciate It!!!

Thats about what I did.

Also don't forget a Tranny cooler

Since your installing a new TC later, it may be wise to drill out the holes where recommended. On a stock convertor, I would leave the holes alone.

Also don't forget to get a new tune that removes completely all TQ Management.

Shift kits are good and I really like mine, but just be really careful with the installation if you do it yourself or who you get to do it. A bad setup shift kit and kill your transmission way faster than help it. With my 1st transmission I had a metal accumulator piston, corvette servo, and transgo shift kit installed. It was about 450 installed for all of that but that was pretty high, I went to a place with a really good reputation and it didn't get set up right... Now I have the vette servo and transgo in my Jag 65e and I'm extremely happy with it. Good luck
