I don't think I ever said that the parts where a issue! I just never heard of it that's all! This is a first for me on this new stuff! Been building the old ones for the last 10yrs! I just stick with what I have used in the past! So what I was saying is that I have never had a problem with TCI or B&M that's all

Many years ago (over 20) I installed a few B&M shift kits and ran a B&M holeshot converter without any problems, but I've heard that their quality has declined over the years...but I don't have any proof to back that up. I steer far away from anything that TCI makes though...I never used their shift kits but have seen more than one of their converters grenade and send it's guts throughout a freshly built trans...got stuck swapping a few of those transmissions on my back myself

I bought my Sonnax parts here: http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/
I think they also sell transgo.

Shift kits are cheap, transmissions are expensive... a no brainer in my book.

Transgo or Sonnax are tried shift kits, why risk it?

Yep, Comp, it's a great daily driver and works well with the stock torque converter and a good improvement over stock, I'm happy with it.

I have used and install them all. These two get my vote if it were my own vehicle.
