Shift kit and servo in wifes truck how hard will it shift?

the 4th hold servo is the outer cover you take off first when installing the vette servo.i have both the vette and sonnex 4th servo's and they are great,so imo unless she drives like a racecar driver all the time she'll be happy with just the servo's.......

I just installed the Transgo HD-2and vette servo ........ no washers ......normal driving I doubt the wife will even notice ..........so is the concensus adding a vette servo is a good idea for heavy towing or not ..........if so should one add the 4th gear servo too or not

I ordered the very same shift kit last night and I too am on the fence about the servos. I am thinking I will install the shift kit and see, then if needed I will install the servos. I would think that for towing more fluid would be better, that and a big cooler and it wouldn't drag so much between gears. It would shift and get it over with.

I put in the hd2 and vette and 4th servo's and I could not be happier. just do like the other guys said and do 0 spacers. I put in one spacer and it shifts nice, fast, ferm, and hard at wot. I would do the aluminum accum. and servo's while you have it apart imo. flt gave me hand written directions and great advice over the phone. It was my first gm trans shift kit and it was very detailed and took alittle longer than I expected but I am not a light duty tech either.
