Default Shifting problems at medium to heavy throttle 4l60e 2008

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra with a 4l60e transmission. When at medium to heavy throttle it doesn't upshift and momentarily pauses between the second and third gear shift. Then when down shifting into 3rd gear it seems like it goes into neutral sometimes. Basically it feels like there's a neutral spot for a couple seconds between the second and third gear. At light throttle it runs perfectly fine. Its not slipping, like it's trying to pull it just is dead for a few seconds. Does that mean I have a pressure problem possibly? Or is there something internal that's hanging up and sticking.? The motor is cammed and also have a 3800 stall converter from Circle D on it. I know I'm fixing to check the line pressure pretty soon any other ideas?. Thanks in advance
