Because it makes the shifts rather violent, unless your have a higher rpm TQ converter... Just my experience... My shift kit on a stock TC, would bark the tires at part throttle and I had no washers in it...

i concur.....I had 1 washer in mine and with 3.23 gears it was not bad, but with 4.10 it was neck breaking. I like the vette and the sonnex 4th gear servo as well.

what is the difference between the HD2 kit and the reagular transgo 4l60e shift kit.?
