Welcome to PT.net
The sevo is a worthwhile addition. Use no or only one spacer for a very firm shift. Bump for the new guy!

yeah 2 bumps for me... ok well why would i not use a spacer or just add one when the kits has 3spacers 1.firm, 2. street&strip, 3.high stall use.... those are the options, ok and when drilling the holes on the seperator plate go with the .082 or.093 hole option right? i just dont want any surprises when doing this and i want to do it right the first time thanks, oh yeah should i go ahead and replace my trans filter while iam down their my truck has 52K miles just seems like a good idea while iam down their you know two birds with one stone type of thing. thanks

Thumbs up Couple tips for you

Definitely install a new filter. It seems that the 1-2 shift is the one with this kit that I hear the most complaints with. Usually it shifts hard. On the 2nd gear feed hole I would only drill it to .083. Also if you have an accumulator housing that has a casting # that starts with an 8, you do not need to install any washers just the gold spring seat. If you have a housing that starts with a 2 then a washer must be used along with the gold spring seat. I would not recommend using more than one in either housing. Also the 1-2 accumulator valve and sleeve in the valve body, the directions will tell you to use the small white spring for this valve setup when using the vet servo. I would recommend using the red spring to help tame down the 1-2 shift a bit. Make sure to keep you factory 1-2 accumulator springs just in case you still have undesired 1-2 shift. By reinstalling these it will lighten up the shift as well. Hope this helps. Vince

you're not going to do any better than the advice above! Good luck bro, get it done and report back your results!
