Shimming new converter....need opinions.....
#12
Thanks Chris, I appreciate the help. I think the "pull back" is what got me when I was tired and didn't have the brain power to do the math on what everyone means by that Thank you for all of the help over the phone too. I know that I called the shop and pulled you away from something to talk about what I wanted to get, but what sold me completely on your company was the Customer service from you and the nice lady who answered the phone.
I don't know if you remember me but I am Moylan with the 2C. We talked about 224-228 cams and I'm in the military.!

Keep us updated on it... and thanks for your service.

I'm sticking the shims in today.....man....that looks like it's gonna be a pain in the A$$ to slip a shim between the converter and the flex plate....thank GOD I have the SFI flex plate with the check hole in the bottom! What ever happened to two piece bell housings?!?!? HA HA! Soooooo much easier! Anoyone have a cool trick to slipping the shims in there?

Thank you for all of the help Chris! Trans is bolted to the motor and the converter is getting bolted up today when I get off of watch. I took a few pics of the clearance between the convertor and the trans, and when I get home I will take one of the trans against the motor........
