I'm not happy with the Belltech Steet Performance shocks I have on my 99 RCSB right now, at least in the front. I'm on stock suspension, lowered about as far as it can go, probably 3-4" total. The front is too bouncy, both compression and rebound. I know the Duramax/Allison weighs more than the 5.3/60E, so that might be some of the issue. Rears seem ok, it's pretty stiff but I'm not sure if that's the shocks, Cal Tracs, or 16 year old worn out leaf springs

Truck is 4wd, decranked torsion bars and shorter bumpstops up front. 2" drop shackles, removed overload spring and lift block, and added Cal Tracs in back.

Anyone have recommendations? I'd love to do adjustables depending on the price so they ride well on the street but also help me launch at the strip.

I have been researching this same thing. When I bought my truck the owner had installed a level kit. Plans are to remove the level kit and install the 2" shackles which I already have plus remove the 4x4 lift block and the lowering keys up front. From what I can gather on this the calverts are the best options. I email them about the shocks and they require you to measure from mount point to mount point (something I cant do being deployed and not near my truck) the rears are 9 way adjustable. They make fronts also but there non adjustable, maybe see if the can valve them for the heavy diesel? the measuring is the only thing stopping me from buying them right now nothing but god reviews about them

I'm not sure about the 90-10's on the front, that seems like it wouldn't ride well on the street and it would be counter-productive for me at the track since I'm 4wd. I'd want a stiff compression on the rear and a stiff rebound on the front to keep the front planted.

Rears might be an option though.

yeah I see what your saying about the front. the rears seem like the best bet, maybe the can revalve something for you to work with the duramax
